COMMUNITY GROUPS
Build Kingdom Family Together.
Community group is one of the primary ways we can be a church on mission together for his glory and for the good of our city. In CGs, people gather in smaller groups around the Denver area to share life, build relationships, pursue Jesus, and invite friends to become family. This happens through open lives and open Bibles. Each group meets to learn from God’s Word and from each other, care for each others’ needs, and support and pray for one another regularly.
HEBREWS 10:24-25
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
Community Group FAQs
-
CGs meet for about a 12-week szn, which falls on a normal semester rhythm. Groups will meet around holidays and other major events, so most months a CG will meet 3 out of 4 weeks.
-
The easiest and best pathway is to start with Crew Track, where you can hear more about our church, our values and beliefs, your unique gifts and purpose, and how to be involved in what God is doing through CBC.
-
Our goal for you is to find a CG based on location because we believe the whole purpose is to grow spiritually by doing life together, no matter our differences. The majority of our groups are for everyone. We do have some groups that are built around stages of life to help with other aspects like childcare, etc.
-
The easiest and best way is to attend Crew Track. Start by filling out one of the forms below. Once you fill out the CG form, we work hard to find a group that fits you and your family. If the CG szn is already underway, we may have you wait until next semester for the new CG szn.
-
Every new group goes through our 10-week discipleship baseline called Rooted. This is where you step into community and commit to rhythms God established for us in His Word so the we may know him more intimately and lead others to do the same. The desire is for each group to grow close over these 10 weeks and continue on as a sermon-based group the next semester.
-
We want everyone to commit to a group for a full CG szn. While there are a lot of factors that make building relationships hard, we believe that growth happens in committed relationships learning from one another and encouraging each another as you pursue Jesus together.
